Urbanization affects the quality of air, which has drastically degraded in past decades. Air level is determined by measures several air pollutant concentrations. To create awareness among people, an automation system that forecasts needed. The COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions it imposed on anthropogenic activities have resulted a drop pollution various cities India. overall index (AQI) at any particular time given as maximum band for pollutant. PM2.5 fine particulate matter size less than 2.5 micrometers, inhalation causes adverse effects people suffering from acute respiratory syndrome other cardiovascular diseases. crucial factor deciding AQI. proposed forecasting model designed to predict annual models are using Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average Facebook’s Prophet Library through optimal hyperparameters better prediction. An AQI category classification also presented classical machine learning techniques. experimental results confirm substantial improvement greater reduction due lockdown during crisis.
